At Lester Lithograph, it’s not just our ink that’s green, our commitment is too!
Lester Lithograph is proud to announce that as of August 2007, it has become certified with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that our company will able to buy and print paper that meets the FSC standards. These standards ensure that the wood and pulp used in the production process are grown, harvested, and manufactured to the highest environmental standards. The FSC mark is a guarantee that the materials being used in production come from sustainable forests, recycled sources, or both. Jim Witt, Executive Vice President of Lester Lithograph says that “achieving FSC certification demonstrates our commitment to sustaining the environment, and allows both our company and our customers to show their corporate responsibility by asking for FSC certified paper.” The FSC’s goal is to ensure that forests are managed in a responsible manner that makes them a truly renewable resource, instead of a diminishing one.
By achieving this certification, Lester Lithograph continues to demonstrate its dedication to protect and sustain the environment in which we all live.
