ANAHEIM, CALIF. --Lester Lithograph Inc. of Anaheim and Miller Graphics of Baldwin Park, two leaders in Southern California’s printing industry, have agreed to merge. The new company will operate under the Lester Lithograph name and will be located at the former Lester Lithograph plant in Anaheim, the owners announced.

Details of the transaction were coordinated by Gerry Michaels of G.A. Michael & Company, a CPA firm which specializes in accounting and financial services for the printing industry, and which has been involved in a number of mergers and acquisitions of printing firms in the past ten years in the Southern California region.

“Our combined technical expertise will make us an even stronger competitor in the marketplace”, said Rob Miller, a second-generation printer and former president of Miller Graphics, who will serve as CEO of Lester Lithograph. “The complimentary services that both firms bring to this new company enable us to offer additional services to existing customers of both companies and expand our markets.”

Lester Lithograph will offer a full range of high quality printing services, including six-color printing with aqueous coating capabilities up to 41 inches. The firm will employ approximately 50 staff and will operate out of the current Lester Lithograph building at 1128 Gilbert Street in Anaheim.

The combined company also bridges two generations and more than 60 years of experience in the Southern California printing industry. Rob Miller’s father founded Miller Graphics in Baldwin Park, Calif. in 1968. He was a contemporary of Larry Lester, who co-owned Lester Lithograph with his wife Georgiana. Larry also currently serves as director on the board of Printing Industries of America – Southern California.
